Planning
When to call
Book a yearly inspection before the burning season. Call sooner if smoke comes into the room, the fireplace smells strongly in humid weather, you see water or stains around the firebox, bricks are flaking on the roof, or you are buying a house with a fireplace. After any chimney fire, do not use it again until it has been inspected.
